Jose Luis Rios, of Roxton, TX, passed away July 31, 2018, at the age of 28. He was born September 12, 1989, in Dallas, TX, to Jose Luis Rios, Sr., and Oralia Acosta. Jose was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served one tour in Afghanistan. He later became a Correctional Officer for the Buster Cole State Jail in Bonham, TX. Jose enjoyed horses and hunting and was a big knives and guns guy. He enjoyed joking around and always had a story to tell. A good Christian man, Jose never judged anyone and was a friend to everyone. He was a rock and a “go to” guy for his family and friends. He loved his family dearly and they will remember him always.

Jose is survived by his loving wife of 10 years: Loriane J. Rios; sons: Jadin and Jacob; daughter: Karina; parents: Jose and Oralia; sister: Yubi Rios; brothers: Ceasar Rios and Cristian Rios; nephews: Jared and Jairo Ramirez; niece: Jade Ramirez; and a big, loving family and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday, August 6, 2018, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering for family and friends will be held Sunday afternoon, August 5, at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00pm.
