Harold E. Erwin, 78, of KCK, died Thurs., May 18, 2006 at the Life Care Center of Kansas City. Cremation with committal services Thurs., May 25, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
Mr. Erwin was born May 21, 1927, in Hurdland, MO to Roy Erwin and Sylvia Pearl Brewer. He served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1960 serving as a paratrooper in World War II and the Korean War. Harold had been a car salesman throughout the Kansas City area.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Lester, Morris Lee, and Glenn Erwin. Harold is survived by two sons, Harold E. Erwin, Jr. of KCK, and Cecil L. Jenkins of St. Louis, MO; 2 daughters, Debra L. Rice, KCK, Pamela V. Senft, Birmingham, AL; 2 sisters, Vera Jenkins, Grain Valley, MO, and Lucille Laster, Lee Summit, MO; 3 brothers, Raymond, of Belleview, IL, Cecil (Jack), of Raytown, and Roy Erwin, KCMO; and 5 grandchildren.
