Charles William Bailes, 84, of Nettie, WV was born at Gad, WV, a son of the late James E. and Vida Virginia Foster Bailes. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Henry Bailes; and three sisters, Betty Tincher, Glenna Giles, and Bonnie Bailes. He attended the Ward Road Freewill Baptist Church at Nettie, WV, was a retired truck driver for B and H. Trucking, a member of the UMWA, and a US Army veteran and Army Reservist. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mavis McKinney Bailes; children, Larry Bailes, Gary Bailes, Carol Bailes, and David Bailes; two sisters, Elizabeth and Margaret; three brothers, Webb, Nelson, and Junior; eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
