Mark Ray Copeland, 55, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away on July 25, 2018 surrounded by his family.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Miller Cemetery, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Brother Bobby Musgrove, Cornerstone Church, will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Green Country Funeral Home.

Mark was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on March 9, 1963. He graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mark was married to Kelley on October 18, 2014, but they have been best friends for the past eleven years.

Mark worked as an Operator for Baker Hughes for seventeen years. He enjoyed working on his cars, riding ATV’s in the mountains, car races, and anything outdoors. Mostly Mark loved spending time with Kelley, their children, grandchild, and his family in the Tahlequah area. Mark was loved by anyone that knew him because of his kind and sweet spirit and his optimistic look on life. Mark’s favorite saying was “It’ll Be Alright.”

Mark is survived by his wife, Kelley of the home, daughter, Erin Cloer and husband Jonathan of Inola, Oklahoma, son Josh Borgsmiller of Collinsville, Oklahoma, son Jake Borgsmiller and wife Machaille, grandson Archie, of Durant, Oklahoma, two nephews, Bill Copeland of Denver, Colorado, Alex Copeland of Plano, Texas, three aunts Tweetsie Patterson and husband Bob, Linda (Sis) Baker and husband Tommy, and Melissa (Annie) Gower and husband Doris, all of Tahlequah, one uncle Bud McNiel and wife, Becky of Loma, Colorado, and many special cousins and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Jean McNiel, brother Tony Copeland, grandfather (Daddy) Virgil Preston McNiel, grandmother Mary Ella McNiel, and cousin Shelly Lynn Rogers.
