Ann Ammerman, age 78, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, formerly of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, at her home. She was born on September 17, 1935, to the late Leland and Audrey Cummins. She retired from Pendleton County Farm Bureau in 2005. She worked for many years as secretary for Goforth and Southern Elementary schools. Ann was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church and The Gideons International Auxiliary.

Survivors include her: husband of 60 years, Tommy Ammerman, of Dry Ridge; daughter, Gay (Barry) Napier, of Walton, Kentucky; sons, Gil (Cindy) Ammerman, of Sanford, Florida, and Steve (Tammy) Ammerman, of Falmouth; brother, Terry Cummins, of New Albany, Indiana; sister, Lisa Foreman, of Athens, Georgia; grandchildren, Heather (Stephen) Mann, of Verona, Kentucky, Wade (Kelly) Napier, of Verona, Brentany (Damon) Slaton, of Sanford, Florida, Stephanie (Kyle) Stout, of Burlington, Kentucky, and Mallory Ammerman, of Falmouth; and seven great-grandchildren, Lincoln Mann, Andrew Mann, Thomas Mann, Allyson Napier, Alayna Napier, Brody Stout and Dylan Slaton.

Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Falmouth. Services are at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Short Creek Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Short Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Gideon's International, Short Creek Baptist Church or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
