Wayne was born July 17, 1932 in Puyallup, Washington, to Herman and Millie Sieverkropp. He was number five out of six children.
Wayne graduated from Odessa High School in 1951. He served in the Army as a Private First Class from 1953 to 1955.
Wayne married Dorothy on November 20, 1955. They were married for 54 years. They lived and farmed near Odessa, Washington until 1993. After retiring, they moved and resided in Veradale, Washington, where Wayne was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in the Spokane Valley. Wayne was a life-long farmer....you could take Wayne away from the farm, but you couldn't take the farmer out of Wayne.
Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 2009.
He is survived by his daughters Debbie (Steve) Lytle of Otis Orchards; Linda (John) Faure of Ritzville; and Barbara Barry (Tim Petty) and Patty (Gary) Stanley of Spokane; six grandchildren; and one great grand-daughter. He also is survived by three brothers and one sister, Robert Sieverkropp, Raymond Sieverkropp, Donald Sieverkropp and Ruth Kendall, along with many nieces and nephews.
