Annie was born October 31, 1941 in Fort Necessity to the union of Luther Frank Drane and Dora Beatrice Stephens Drane and passed from this life on July 28, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Annie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her greatest love was her family especially her grand children and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband John Barton; son, John R. "Shorty" Barton; daughter, Carolyn Ann Haring; brother Pete Drane and two sisters: Lois Thompson and Marion "Sooky" Drane.
Survivors include her three children: Deberal Hickey of Concord, CA, Donna Walker and husband Michael of Wisner and Terry Barton and wife Patricia LeAnn of Gilbert; sister, Bobbie Jean King; grandchildren: Brian Sholley and wife Jaymie; Christopher Sholley and fiance Julia; Adam Hickey; Jonathan Herrington; Aaron Carroll and wife Elysia; Mickey Walker and wife Lacy; Megan Wilson and husband John; Terrie Lynn Barton; Carmel Faughn and husband Chase and Faith Haring; great grandchildren: Anikan Walker; Addie Walker, Autumn Walker, Sage Herrington, Landin Herrington, Ella Carroll, Molly Carroll and Ava Claire Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
