Grant Brooks, 74, of 527 Birch street, a resident of Lansing for 10 years, died at a local hospital Sunday night.
He leaves three sons, Alva of Romeo, Elza of 0hio, and Jefferson, Little Campton, R.; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Matelsky, Lansing, Mrs. Bethel Stover, Haslett, and Mrs. Edith Iler of Grant; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Brooks, Elmira, Mich., and Mrs. Marian Stover, Traverse, City; two brothers, Fred Brooks, Mikado, Mich., and Ralph Brooks of Grand Rapids; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Robinson Barbier funeral home Wednesday at 4 o'clock. The Rev. Joseph I Dilby will officiate. Thursday morning the body will be removed to Frankfort, where funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Frankfort cemetery.
