DUTCHTOWN — Funeral service for Lelar Mae Carnell of Portageville was held Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church there. Jim Jarnigan officiated, with burial in Bethel Cemetery in Henderson, Tennessee.
DeLisle Funeral Home at Portageville was in charge of arrangements.
Carnell, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 21,1993, in Portageville.
She was born Aug. 9, 1899, in Humboldt, Tennessee. She and Albert D. Carnell were married Oct. 10, 1919. He died July 30, 1975. Carnell was a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include four sons, Clarence Carnell of Dutchtown, Andrew and D.C. Carnell of Portageville, Brice Carnell of Hayti; a stepson, John Carnell of Henderson; several grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
