Lavina Donihoo Gilbert, who lived here about 20 years, died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness. She was 81. A native of Illinois, she lived many years in Oklahoma before coming to California 22 years ago. She lived in San Luis Obispo two years before moving here and made her home for many years on Oxford way. She was a member of Penecostal church.
Funeral services will he Friday at 10:30 a.m. at White's chapel, 138 Walnut avenue, with interment in Oakwood Memorial park. Mrs. Gilbert is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Crafton of Capitola; three sons, Leroy Donihoo of Santa Cruz, Frank Donihoo of Ohio and Glen L. Fausnacht of Texas; two brothers, Clyde and Oliver Dale, both of Oklahoma, four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
