Funeral for John W. Byrd, 82 of St. Joe (Searcy County) who died Monday was today with arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Marsha. He was a native of Eureka Springs and was a retired farmer. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Lucy Byrd, five sons, George Byrd and John Henry Byrd of St. Joe, and Tommy Byrd, Elmer Byrd and Otis Byrd of Kansas; five daughters, Mrs Ollie Bolin, Mrs Elsie Harrell and Mrs Opal Ray Davis of California, Mrs. Berthie Thomas of Kansas and Miss Martha Byrd of St. Joe and one brother, four sisters, 46 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren.
