Lizzie Viola Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Viola Johnson were held Monday, October 8, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. from Barham Funeral Home Chapel, Newton Co. Bro. T. A. Sims officiated with burial in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home, Newton was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson, 86, a native of Newton County died Friday, October 5, 2001 at Baptist Hospital, Jackson. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church since 1929. She was also a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Joe Johnson and Ollie of Madison, Elsie Hollingsworth and John of Commerce, GA, Charlie Johnson and Danny Johnson, both of Jackson; four grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; two sisters, Ruby Sims and T. A. of Ocean Springs and Ruth Loper and Durwood of Decatur; two brothers, Dock Graham and Mae of Decatur and Mike Graham and Peggy of Union; three Sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Eddie Tate, Reginald Thames, James Graham, Ricky Chaney, Derwood "Chunk" Munn and Eddy Chaney.

The family request memorials be made to Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund and Church construction Fund.
