Bergen ~ Donald G. Ribbeck, age 69, of Meadows Way, passed away Friday afternoon (July 27, 2018) at Crossroads House, in the loving presence of his family.

He was born March 2, 1949 in Batavia, a son of the late George and Eva Francisco Ribbeck.

Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who was a proud veteran, having served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Gail. One of his biggest passions was visiting historical sites. He was involved with the Civil War reenactments and active in the Civil War Preservation Trust.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Gail Scanlon Ribbeck; his sons, Kevin (Heather) Ribbeck of Derby, Brian (Kathryn) Ribbeck of Clifton and Todd Ribbeck (Keith Eyrich) of Ephrata, PA; grandchildren, Mary, Michael, Emily and Andrew; sister, Sandy Ribbeck; brother, Terry Ribbeck, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Ronald.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 ~ 7 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. His Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Brigid Church, 18 Gibson St., Bergen. Interment with military honors will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
