Hampton Wimberly Ware was born in Georgia. His family moved to Simpson County Mississippi around 1874. The family tradition is that Hampton Wimberly Ware was a teacher at a school in Corsicana. He was to marry his sweetheart from Mississippi, but died before the marriage.
