Services to Be Held Wednesday for Mrs. Carl Zimmerman Spring Grove, Minn. —(Special) —Mrs. Carl P. Zimmerman, 37, teacher of commercial subjects at the Spring Grove High school, whose neck was broken in an automobile accident Pebrury 20, died Saturday at 7:05 p. m. at the La Crosse Lutheran hospital. ¦ The accident occurred on a highway about a mile west of Coon Valley, Wis., while Mrs. Zimmerman, her three-year-old daughter and her uncle, John Johnson, were enroute to Milwaukee to visit Mr. Zimmerman, employed in a war plant there. Mr. Johnson, whose home is in Morrice, Mich., and the child were back seat passengers and suffered only minor bruises when ( the car skidded from the highway and overturned in the ditch. Mrs. Zimmerman, who was born here, is survived by her husband and daughter, Barbara Elizabeth; four brothers, Ove, La Crosse, Maurice, Milwaukee, Carleton, who was honorably discharged from the army recently to operate the family farm here, and Arnold, Spring Grove, and her mother, Mrs. Bolethe _Guberud, Spring Grove. Mrs. Zimmerman, ' the former Mathilda Guberud, was a graduate of the high school here and the University of Minnesota. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. at Trinity Lutheran church here, of which she was a member. There will be preliminary services at 1 p. m. at the home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
