Eva Doreen Anderson Bardsley was born Sunday, January 1, 1922 in Castle Dale, Utah to Ervin Andrew Anderson and Naomi Asay.

She married Robert Gerald Bardsley on October 1, 1938 in Castle Dale, Utah. They were later sealed on March 31, 1972 in the Ogden LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1985. They resided at 763 South Simoron Drive (1525 East) in Ogden, Utah.

Doreen had five children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A very active member of the LDS Church, Doreen served for many months in the Ogden Temple. She served for many years in the primary as a teacher, Primary President and Board Member. "She loved Primary ". She served an LDS Mission to Crown Point, New Mexico as a missionary on the Indian Reservation.

She was an accomplished seamstress; she enjoyed making clothing for her family. She had a special love for animals, especially dogs.

She worked in the school lunch program, starting in 1955 in Price, Utah. After moving to Ogden, she began working in schools in Ogden and later was promoted to lunch manager of Ogden High School, from where she retired.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rock Cliff First Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1000 East Suncrest Drive (690 South) in Ogden. Friends and family attended a viewing on Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary located at 845 South Washington Boulevard (400 East) in Ogden, and Friday at the church from 9:45 until 10:45 AM prior to the services.
Graveside services were held following the conclusion of the funeral services at 3:30 p.m. at the Castle Dale City Cemetery in Castle Dale.
