George was the son of the late Francis L. Locke and Cora Jane (Campney) Locke.
Being a lifelong resident of Indian Lake, he left his mark of craftsmanship in all the rockwork and masonry he enjoyed creating.
He served his country during the Vietnam era from September 1970-September 1972 in the 101stAirborn Division.
His favorite pastimes included camping, NASCAR, fishing, playing poker and just enjoying like.
Surviving: his wife, Debra Locke of 24 years; his sons: Kevin Locke and Derek Locke (Jessica); his daughter Ashley Locke (Bill), all residing in Tupper Lake, NY. His stepdaughters: Nicole (Eric) of Ontario, Canada and Danielle DeCesare (Alan) of Pottersville, NY; his grandchildren: Austin, Chelsy, Josalynn, Sara, Layne, Forrest, Wesley, Theodore, Inara, Kieren, Dominick, Logan, and Aliya; his two brothers: Kenneth Locke (Jane) of Indian Lake, NY, Peter (Noreen) Locke of Willsboro, NY; several nieces, nephews, and loyal friends, Les, Chum, Jon S., John M., Kenny K. and John K., as well as several service buddies that he had kept in touch with.
