She was born on Aug. 20, 1936 in Cannelville, Ohio. She was retired from Brockway Glass. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo.
She is survived by her husband, James Tipton, Sr. of the home; four children, Jimmy Tipton, Rick (Lijun) Tipton, Barbara (Dave) Tipton, and David (Staci) Tipton all of Zanesville; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; special friend, Alanna Fluhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Hazel Ginsley; a half-sister, Kathrine Owens; one brother, Philip Bates.
