SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery for Cathy Dowdall, age 48, and her daughter Tiffany Dowdall, age 20, both of Shreveport, LA on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Msgr. Carson LaCaze. Visitation will be at Centuries Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Cathy and Tiffany went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2007 as the result of a tragic car accident. Cathy was a plumber for over thirty years and Tiffany was a parttime student. Cathy could do anything in terms of construction and car maintenance. She was a friend to all who knew her. Cathy and Tiffany will be forever loved and missed by their family and friends.
Cathy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecelia and Norman Frewin and paternal grandparents, James A. and Eva Dowdall.
Cathy is survived by her loving parents and Tiffany's loving grandparents, J. Roger and Joann Dowdall of Shreveport, La.; Cathy's sister and Tiffany's aunt, Christy Cole of Atlanta, Tx.; Cathy's brothers and Tiffany's uncles, Jimmy Dowdall and wife Peggy of Shreveport, La., and John Dowdall and wife Julie of Houston, Tx.; Cathy's uncles, Norm Frewin and wife Sue of Sugarland, TX, John Frewin of Houston, TX; one aunt, Rose Gambino of Houston TX; two nephews, Mathew and Cody, four nieces, Melissa, Courtney, Katie and Haley, and a host of aunts and uncles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wilma, Dixie, Robin, Kate, Kim, Penny, and Kayla.
