Lawrence E. Pillow, aged 43 of near Clover Bend, west of Minturn, died last Saturday afternoon in the office of a Portia physician of a broken neck received about 4:30 Sat. afternoon in a fall from a timber truck driven by a man named Simmons, Harry Morrison a fellow worker, said here last night.
Mr. Pillow, a logger, was employed by R. L. Smith and Phil Phillips. He was a WWII Naval Veteran. He formerly resided at Beech Grove.
The body is being held at a Walnut Ridge Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ada Pillow, 3 stepsons, a brother Virgil Pillow and his mother, the former Mrs. Daisy Pillow, whose present addresses are not known.
