Mrs. Norris Milner Succumbed to Long Illness Sunday Morning
Mrs. Norris Milner died at her home on Ninth street, near Railroad street, Sunday morning after an illness of several months. The remains were taken to Ashmore this morning for burial this afternoon. Mrs. Milner was about fifty years of age and was well known in this and Ashmore townships.
She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband, three children, two daughters and one son, who have the sympathy of the community in the loss of the wife and mother.
This unknown, undated newspaper clipping was found in a scrapbook donated by the family of Thomas C. Watson. The Tom Watson Collection is housed at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library in the Coles County Genealogical Society Collection.
