Verna M. Jacobsen, 64, of 316 Caliene Street, died in a local hospital Wednesday.
A native of Constantia, Calif., she was born May 27, 1908, A housewife, she had lived in the Reno area since 1926. Survivors include her husband. Leslie, of Reno; sisters, Nina Jacke, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Alice Lloyd, Mountain View, Calif.; Melba Davis, Minden; brothers, Hiram Custis, Minden and John Custis, Los Angeles, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at p.m. Saturday at the Walton Mortuary with the Rev. Emol Leising of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Gardnerville, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
