Mrs. Bessie Craig Dies At Jacksonville Hospital
Mrs. Bessie A. Craig, resident of Charleston for a number of years, died this (Thursday) morning about 10:30 o'clock in a hospital in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Craig, the former Bessie Barger, was born February 22, 1867, near Toledo in Cumberland County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barger. She came to Charleston in 1924 and had resided here since that time except tow years spent on a farm. Besides her late husband, James Craig, a son and a daughter have preceded her in death.
She leaves the following children: Mrs. Ora (Juanita) White, Robert Craig and Mrs. Lewis (Pearl) Wright, of Charleston, and Charles Craig of Toledo, the latter three by a former marriage.
The boy is being returned to Charleston by the Lewis funeral service.
The funeral plans are incomplete; however , the body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Lewis Wright at 215 Adams street, following preparation for burial.

Mrs. James A. Craig of Charleston Dies
Special to the Journal-Gazette. Charleston, Ill., Mrs. James A. Craig, 82, of this city, died this morning in a Jacksonville hospital. The body will he returned to Charleston but funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mrs. Craig, the former Bessie Barger was born Feb. 22, 1867, near Toledo. She came to Charleston in 1924.
Her husband, a son, and daughter preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, Mrs. Ora White, Robert Craig, and Mrs. Lewis Wright of Charleston, and Charles Craig of Toledo.
