Clifton was an Undertaker with his father, & also a teacher. He enlisted in WWI @ London, ON, on 27 Mar 1916, Canadian Army Medical Corps, soldier #528736, & his full military file is here: http://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?op=pdf&app=CEF&id=B1619-S067
Relocated with parents, from Windsor to Toronto, by 1928, where he died of Hodgkin's disease, 8 months after diagnosis.
Clifton married Josephina (Ina) Lyall Goodall @ Sandwich, Essex, ON 11 Nov 1925, & they had one child, Clifton Jr, who shows with widowed mother 1957, Danforth Ave., Toronto.
