Thelma Louise Simerly Miller, age 93, passed away on Friday July 20, 2018 surrounded by family at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ellis Miller; daughter, Wanda Lynn Crowder; parents, Willie and Ellen Simerly; and sisters, Gladys, Margaret, and Emma Lee.

She is survived by her daughter, Wilma Jean Huckeba; son-in-law, Clayton Crowder; brother, Bill Simerly; grandchildren, Brenna Shelton, Janet Deaton, Kenneth Crowder, Aaron (Joney) Crowder; great grandchildren, Savanah Shelton, Wesley, April and Abby Crowder, and Caleb and Paige Deaton; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Ella, Shane, and Walter; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Quality Care and the staff on 5 East at Blount Memorial Hospital for their love and support.
