Elko - Ralph Bolen, 67, died early Monday morning at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nellie Porter Bolen of Elko; two daughters, Mrs. Carlton Schumpert of Elko and Mrs. Charles Cathey of Columbia; two sons, C. L. Bolen and Marvin Bolen of Orangeburg; one sister, Mrs. Lenzy Hallman of Columbia; one brother, Denzil Bolen of Williston; ten grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Edisto Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m. today. © The State, Columbia, SC, 28 Apr 1964
