Private services were held for Norma J. Goreck, 81, formerly of Chess Street, New Eagle, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, in the Washington County Health Center. She was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Otto and Rachel Clee Goreck. She lived most of her life in the Monongahela and New Eagle areas and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was retired from Parker Plastics, Route 88 in Castle Shannon. Surviving are one daughter, Charlene Carr of Devils Lake, N.D.; two grandchildren, Melissa A Letzgus and Michael A Carr; and one sister, Edna Mae Holdsworth. The L.M. FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, was in charge of arrangements.
