Ransom Frank Bishop grew up in a very large family, the son of Dr. John Crane Bishop and Mary Ann Grabeel Bishop. He was a Veteran of World War I, a farmer, and never married. He passed in the VA Hospital in Big Spring, Howard County, Texas at the age of 73. The Cause of Death was Acute Edema of Lung, Massive Pneumonoconiosis, and atherosclerosis. He was buried in the Crew Cemetery, Crews, Runnels County, Texas.
