The funeral of Charles Theodore Hayman, ex-superintendent of of the Miami and Erie Canal, and who died in Arizona, took place from his late residence. at 946 West Seventh street. Rev. J. C. Colley of M. E. Church, conducted the services. The funeral was under the auspices of the members of the Royal Arcanaum, of which the deceased was a member. The floral offerings were elaborate. The pall bearers were Frank A. Huffman, of the State Board of Public Works; William T. McClean Secretary of the Board; W. A. Gregg, Canal Collector; Harry Hanover, Clerk of the Police Court; George Scheid and Woodson Poor of Greensburg, Ind. Interment was in Spring Grove.
