A graduate of the Illinois College of Chiropody, he was a member of the faculty there until coming ta Oshkosh in 1956. He served as credit manager at Mercy Hospital from 1961 until his retirement, due to ill health.
He was born in Oshkosh on Aug. 16. 1921, son of Hale H. and Gladys Brabazon. and was married here to Anne Ponkow on Dec. 26, 1942.
Dr. Brabazon served as a petty officer pharmacist mate in the Marines during World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters of war. It was following his discharge in 1945 that he entered Illinois College of Chiropody.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Catholic Knights Branch 54.
Surviving are his widow; one son, William Brabazon, Oshkosh; one daughter, M a r y - Therese Brabazon, Oshkosh; his father in Milwaukee, and one brother, Neil Brabazon, San Jose Calif
Services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Rickert officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, with military honors by VFW. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
