Harold Augustus Edwards, of Brooksville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer on July 9, 2018. He was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on January 22, 1953, a son of the late Paul Edwards and Louisa Ellis Edwards. He worked at the Mt. Olivet Feed Mill and the Germantown Milling Company for over 33 years. He was a member of Kentontown Christian Church.

He is survived by: his wife of 33 years, Bertie Ormes Edwards; one son, Paul (Samantha) Edwards; one grandson, Ryley Edwards; two brothers, Daryl (Karen) Edwards, of Brooksville, and Danny Ray (Sandi) Edwards, of Mt. Olivet; four sisters, Carolyn (Tim) Pratt, Linda Edwards and Paula (Gus) Woerner, of Mt. Olivet, and Wanda (Danny Wayne) Hicks, of Harrison County; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Robertson County Funeral Home by Keith Ellis. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ellis Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be given to Robertson County Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
