Mr. Hathcock was born April 14, 1936, to the late Hoyle Edgar and Bertha Morton Hathcock. He was a member of South Albemarle Baptist Church. He was a retiree from Wiscassett Mills. He loved to fish, play Bingo, watch wrestling, and loved his family and cats.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one daughter, Barbara Hunsucker; granddaughter, Brandy Hunsucker; brother, Larry Hathcock; sisters, Jeanette Robinson and Betty Owens.
He is survived by his children: Roger Hatchcock and Judy Russell of Norwood. In addition, there are seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Elizabeth Edwards of Albemarle.
