Services for CHARLES M. SLINGERLAND, 88, of 204 Melrose Ave., will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Goddard and Crandall Funeral Home, the Rev. Ernest Crounse officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
He died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Slingerland owned and operated the Montgomery Garage on Montgomery Street for 22 years before his retirement in 1940.
He was a member of the Reformed Church of Syracuse, Central City Masonic Lodge, Central City Consistory Bodies, and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald White; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Strickland; a granddaughter, Mrs. Clealand Sargent Jr., and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 3111 James St.
