Harold Henry Baecker, age 101, of Paola, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at North Point Skilled Nursing Center in Paola.

Harold H. was born Wednesday, June 27, 1917, in Morrison, Missouri to Charles F. and Ida (Deppe) Baecker. He was united in marriage to Lucille Cramer on April 10, 1943 at Hermann, Missouri.

He worked on pipeline maintenance for Phillips Petroleum and retired in 1980. Harold was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Baecker, mother, Ida C Baecker, one brother, one sister, two grandchildren and one great grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille of 75 years; son, Ronald Baecker; daughters, Sandra (Jerry) Cramer, and Diana (James) Stainbrook; sister, Leta Miller; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at LIghthouse Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm, Burial will be in Osawatomie Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Presbyterian Church.
