Louzelle McCray Carringer, age 86, of Hayesville, NC went home to be with the Lord July 7, 2018 at her home following a period of declining health..
She was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Norman Acie and Hubbie Lee Trout McCray. She retired from Clifton Precision in 1994. Lou enjoyed her flower garden and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Neal Carringer.
She is survived by her daughter Eunavee Mease and husband Larry of Hayesville, NC; grandchildren, Leah Henderson and husband Casey, Bunny Williams and husband, Robby; great grandchildren, Amber, Alicia and Emily Williams and Cannon Henderson; also her church family at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Townson Rose Funeral Home in Hayesville, NC. Rev. Clark Moss will officiate. Music will be provided by the Kody Family. Burial will be in the Ogden Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bruce Black, Anthony Garrett, John Talley, Perry Carringer, David McClure and Craig Hooper. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Hyatt and Calvin Hooper.
