She was a Native of Clay County, N.C. and the daughter of John Van Buren and Mamie Roach Brendle. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, flowers, crafts and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sherman McKinley Voyles and sister Martha Rogers.
She is survived by one son Buford Voyles of S.C. one daughter, Geraldine Roberson of Hayesville.
She has grandchildren and great grandchildren. I left them off of the obituary.
