He was the son of Henry and Loretta (Winner) Bills. On May 7, 1955, he married Rita Jean Fischer, who preceded him in death. On Nov 1, 2008, he married Elizabeth Katherine 'Betsy' Bruns, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a daughter, Terri (Dr. William) Finkelmeier, Carmel, IN; a son, Allan (Shelly) Bills, Celina; a brother, Walter (Vera) Bills, Lynchburg, VA; two sisters: Norma Swink, Minster, and Barbara (David) Smith, Roanoke, VA; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister linked below; and a brother-in-law, Edward Swink.
A member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and of the Knights of Columbus Council #1800, he retired in 1990 after 40 years of service with Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, with Rev. Vince Wirtner C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
