FRITCH - Ray Earl Black, 92, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Westlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Lake Meredith Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Black was born in Parkesburg, W.Va. He moved from Pampa to Fritch in 1951. He retired from Phillips Petroleum in 1963 as an oiler. He retired from the water authority in 1985. He was a member of First Christian Church in Pampa.

He married Vada Bonner in 1952.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Diane Barbee of Corsicana; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
