CARLISLE Albert B. "Sam" Ilgenfritz III, 65, of 224 Webster St., died yesterday in Hershey Medical Center.
He was retired from the A&P Co; a veteran of the Korean War; and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 477, American Legion Post 101, Mechanicsburg Men's Club and Letort United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy F. Martin Ilgenfritz; a daughter, Karen S. Wonders of Carlisle; two sons, Albert B. IV of Elizabethtown and Keith A. of Carlisle; three sisters, Jean Webster and Romayne Shank, both of Carlisle, and Joan Taylor of Mechanicsburg; a grandson; and a granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in his church, Claremont Road, Carlisle.
Memorial contributions may be made to Letort United Methodist Church, c/o the Rev. Noreen Mench, 1208 Stratford Road, Carlisle 17013.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania.
