Funeral of Michael Diveley Thursday.

The funeral of Michael Diveley will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home, 616 West Tenth street. The Rev. Cameron Mann will have charge of the services. A quartette of the Old Men's club will sing at the funeral.

Burial will be at Union cemetery.

He left Pennsylvania after his mothers death in 1853 and settled in Iowa City, Iowa.

He ran a store there.

In 1858, he moved to Kansas City, Missouri.

Michael was an early merchant in Kansas City and was the first president of the First National Bank. He was a city council member and acting mayor in 1863. He represented Missouri at the Vienna Exposition in 1873
