Barbara Ann Morea, 64, of Florence passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018, as a result of a long-term illness. Her family was by her side when she drifted off to be with the Lord. A memorial service will be held at Quest Community Church in Florence at 401 S. Church Street, Saturday, July 7 at 12:00 PM with a visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Webbie Bates; brothers, Junior Bates, Danny Bates and Donald Bates; sister Linda Sweeney; and brother-in-law Jerry Polk.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 47 years, Danny; her sisters, Cathy (Tommy) Ford and Debra Polk (whose husband Jerry passed away in 2008); brother, Harry (Beverly) Bates; and brother-in-law, Gordon Sweeney.
She will be missed by her four children; daughters, Lisa Morea, Angela (Robert) Ryan and Janice (Chuck) Knight; and son, Scott (Lisa) Morea. She was a loving grandmother (MeMe) to twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
