Nellie Abrahamson, 100 of Medfield, MA died on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Thomas Upham House in Medfield.

She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Abrahamson who died in 1990.

Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Anna Emse.

Nellie graduated from the High School of Practical Arts in Roxbury with the class of 1936.

During World War II, she worked at the Hood Rubber Company, which later became BF Goodrich where she made rubber boots and other military items.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist church in Chelmsford.

Nellie enjoyed visiting the Chelmsford Senior Center and playing bingo and completing crossword puzzles.

She was the sister of the late Felix Emse of Mansfield, MA and Louise Crawford of Walpole, MA.

Nellie is survived by her sister in-law Joyce Abrahamson of Westford, MA and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great- grandnieces and great-grandnephews and her devoted niece and godchild Nancy Pritoni of Sudbury, MA.
