Ruby Marie Geralds, 74, of 267 Sewell Rd., Tompkinsville, died Feb. 20, 2003, at her home.
She had been an employee of the Monroe Health and Rehabilitation Center, working in the housekeeping department.
Born in Monroe County on Dec. 2, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Garrett and Orpha (Biggerstaff) Jones and the wife of Truman Geralds, who survives.
Other than her husband, survivors include three sons, Randall, Larry and Harlin Walker, Jr., all of Tompkinsville; three daughters — Linda Parker, Lebanon, Tenn.; Brenda Polivick, Bardwell; and Lori Slaughter, Tompkinsville; three brothers, Harold Jones, Tompkinsville, and Stanley and Waymond Jones, both of Indiana; a sister, Opal Wooten, Edenberg, Ind.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A son, Michael Walker; a brother, Dewey Jones; and three sisters, Irene and Doris Walker and Arlene Walden, all preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 22, at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with Bro. Tim White officiating. Burial was at the Center Point Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were: Lonnie Ray Bryant, Jr., James Keith Geralds, Thomas Graves and Randy, Alan and Dewey Walker.
