FULTON — Mrs Augusta L. Thornber of 111 North First St., widow of Bert R Thornber died Thursday morning in Lee Memorial hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Thornber was born in the Town of Volney, daughter of the late Alonso and Nellie Sawyer Burchim. She was a life resident of the Fulton area and attended First Methodist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward Germaim Oswego: two sons, Ernest Thornber and Fred Thornber, principal of Fairgrieve Junior High school, both of Fulton: a brother, Floyd Burchim of Minetto: six grandchildren: six great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the home of her son. Floyd Thornber 414 West Fourth St. with Rev. J.B. Burwell, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Bundyville
Friends may call at the Thornber home starting Friday afternoon at their convenience.
