TYLER Franklin Adair Tyler Jr., age 72, of 3825 Stratford Rd., Richmond, died December 21, 2000 at home. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Tyler; daughter, Nancy Lee Tyler; and dear family friend, Mary Jane Brown. He retired from Philip Morris USA as Director of Training and Development in 1992. He was an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, JEB Stuart Camp 1343, and a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Prior business experience includes C&P Telephone Company, Bell Telephone Laboratories, and White Sands Nike Guided Missile Program. He graduated from VPI in 1953 and served with the U.S. Army in Korea. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. December 28 at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 9800 Huguenot Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Parkinson Disease Foundation, 710 W. 168th St., 3rd Floor, New York, N.Y. 10032 or Bon Secours Hospice, 5800 Monument Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230.
