Betty J. May Westfall, 92, of Greensburg, passed away June 29, 2018 in Greensburg. Betty was born May 20, 1926 in Rushville to Leslie Craven and Faye (Stout) Craven Wolters. Betty spent most of her life in Rushville and had lived in Greensburg since 2006.
She married Albert E. May on September 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death on October 11, 1972. She later married Donald E. Westfall on June 20, 1981 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1996.
Betty worked many years for Stevens Brothers Cleaners in Rushville, Cook Dress Factory in Greensburg and worked at Schnadig Corporation 14 years where she was a cost analyst. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Rushville.
Betty is survived by her daughters: Sandy (Larry) Muckerheide of Greensburg and Alberta (Dave) Montgomery of Westfield, step-son, David (Caroline) Westfall of Louisville, KY; brothers: Carlos (Chris) Craven of Shelbyville and Wayne (Shirley) Craven of Rushville; a sister, Donna (Gene) Wagoner of Homer; a sister-in-law, Barbara Craven of Rushville; grandchildren: Christy (Jimmy) McLaughlin, Cathy (Rob) Hartman, Chad (Kara) Muckerheide, Greg (Rachel) Montgomery and Jeff (Julie) Montgomery and 13 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by both her husbands; a brother, Curtis Craven; and a sister, Viola Newlin.
Services will be held at 10 AM Friday, July 6, 2018 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 4-8 PM Thursday, July 5. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center.
