Edgar Eugene Copeland, age 88, of Wake Village, Texas died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in a local hospital. He was born March 27, 1930 in Nashville, Arkansas and was a retired Baptist minister.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Copeland; one daughter, Jeanie Copeland; and one son, Joe Copeland.
Survivors include one daughter, Joy Hutchison of Texarkana, Texas; one son, Jerry Copeland of Frisco, Texas; three grandchildren, Connor Copeland, Aubrey Copeland, and Casey Copeland; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10AM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Mindy Zwirn officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
