HOLLY RIDGE - Donald Paul Wilder, 78, was born on November 9, 1939 in Marquette, Michigan, died on June 23, 2018 at his residence in Holly Ridge, NC.


Mr. Wilder was preceded in death by his previous wife's; Virginia Hyman Wilder, Merrilyn Kolar Wilder; his parents, George M. Wilder and Pauline C. Smith Wilder; sister, Arline Barhman and brother, Douglas Wilder.


He is survived by three daughters and one son; Jennifer Navarro of Raleigh, NC, Teresa Hardwick of Orange Park, FL, Denise Lippert of Holly Ridge, NC and Richard Wilder of Spicewood, Texas; two sisters, Anita Tootie Vartti of Marquette, MI. and Judy Musselwhite of Palmer, MI. two brothers, Allen Wilder of Prince George, VA, Richard Wilder of Marquette, MI.; thirteen grandchildren.


Don was a caring and compassionate father. He was a loving and considerate husband and was a great provider. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. His friends and family will forever miss him.
