Final Rites For Mrs. A. C. Butts

Mrs. Arthur Butts, age 80, died on Saturday the 27th at home after a long illness.

Funeral services were held from Rock Branch Church at 2 p.m., on Sunday with Rev. Ernest, the pastor, in charge assisted by Rev. Edgar Ray Killen and Rev. Raymond Wilson. Mrs. W. P. Cassel sang, "How Great Thou Art," accompanied by Mrs. Lester White.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Butts, and three children Mrs. Jesse Dansby of Meridian, T. C. Butts of Philadelphia, and Terry Butts of Midwest City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Davis Jaroe of Jackson and his four sons.

Interment took place in Union Cemetery with Union Funeral Home in charge.

The following served as pall bearers: Orance Ethredge, Nuel Butts, R. L. Session, Preston Hindon, Leon Sansing, and T. G. Irbie. Honorary pall bearers were as follows: Dr. W. R. Peebles, Jack Laird, Holcolm Nicholson, Herbert Laird, Raymond Wilson, Jack Rivers, and Bill Ogletree.
