Chloie Sue (Lilly) Hatcher, age 84, of Crow, West Virginia, passed away at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia, on Friday, June 29, 2012.

Born on April 1, 1928 at Ghent, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lonza Lilly and Agnes Griffith Lilly.

She was a homemaker, member of Daniels Missionary Baptist Church, where she was active in he Clothes Closet distribution of the church. She enjoyed cooking, camping on the river, and gardening flowers. Mrs. Hatcher served on the Lilly Reunion Board of Directors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter W. Hatcher; a daughter-in-law, Patti Hatcher; four sisters, Nova, Minnie, Esthel, and Ora; and by five brothers, Bob, Kenneth, Lake, Oscar, and John; and by a grandson, Jonathan Schauchman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Dexter Hatcher, wife Brenda, of Beckley, Eddy Hatcher of Table Rock, Susan Rodani, husband Tony of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren, April Lilly, husband Brian, Susan Barber, husband Scott, Andrew Hatcher, wife Dana, Christopher Hatcher, and Amanda Hatcher; two great-grandchildren, Kristen Lilly and Cassie Schauchman.

Funeral services to Celebrate the Life of Chloie Hatcher were conducted on Monday, July 2, 2012, at 1PM at the Rose & Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, WV, with the Rev. Larry Lilly officiating. Entombment followed at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity, WV.
